Global European boutique placement advisory firm is seeking analysts/associates for their new operations in NY. The firm has an excellent track record dedicated to assisting mid-market private equity fund managers.
Successful candidates will have 2-3 years’ experience as an analyst or 3-5 years for an associate. Top academic background and experience as an analyst in an investment bank, PE company, strategic consulting firm or transaction services of a Big Four. Strong financial modeling ability is a sincere prerequisite.
In addition to performing extensive due diligence on the funds selected for review in the firm, the role will also require reaching out to existing investors for new solicitations and to answer any questions regarding the offerings. The firm advises 3-4 funds per annum and target a 350% return on equity and are usually successful. This is obviously very attractive for their investors who are asset managers, foundations, pension funds, fund of funds and some SFOs in most major markets.
Detailed analysis is therefore the major component of the work but the analysts also have to contact existing investors and identify new ones.
